Peterborough travel agent admits plane painting '˜cock-up'

Peterborough based travel agents Thomas Cook have admitted making a '˜cock-up' on their new planes - after realising a door changed the meaning of the words on the side of the aircraft.

The firm have recently unveiled their new Cook’s Club craft, with the slogan ‘I ‘heart’ Cook’s Club’ written on the side of the fuselage.

Unfortunately when the sliding door on the plane is opened, the message is changed to something slightly ruder.

A spokesman for Thomas Cook said: “It goes without saying it is unintended, but it is one way to highlight where the emergency exit is.”
