Police closed a road in Peterborough yesterday evening, Sunday March 20, after reports of concern for a woman's safety.

Mountsteven Avenue was closed at 5.05pm for the safety of police officers and ambulance crews, the public and the woman involved.

The woman was subsequently taken to hospital and the police are no longer involved.
