Person hit by train between Peterborough and Ely

Emergency services have been called to the scene.

However, trains cannot now run between Peterborough and Ely. There is no information on when services may be able to resume.

A spokesman for East Midlands Railway said: “Two rail replacement buses are planned to operate shortly between Peterborough & Ely calling all stations; this is operated by Greater Anglia your ticket can be used on these replacement buses.”
