Two fearless free-runners have breezed over the newly unveiled cross-country course ahead of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials.

Parkour pros Shameem Abbas, 22, and Mason Green, 17, leap, flip and race around the 3.5 mile track with ease.

Using incredible acrobatic skills, they perform jaw-dropping backflips, cartwheels and tricks as they whizz over towering fences, hedges and obstacles.

The challenging course is set to be officially unveiled at one of the biggest events in the equestrian calendar, the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials.

Designed by gold-medal-winning racer Captain Mark Phillips, it will be braved by elite athletes on horseback next month.

It features fences up to 2m wide and 1.45m tall, and riders will be expected to complete it in around 10 minutes.
