Thrilling indoor skate park could open next year in Peterborough
The move comes as interest in skateboarding, rollerblading, stunt scooter and BMX riding have all soared over the last year.
Peterborough gym owner and skateboarding enthusiast, Lee Horspool (46) is in the process of acquiring premises in Bretton that would be home to the new facility that would be called Y2SK8.

“I am in the process of securing a building in Bretton to bring Y2SK8 park back to life.
“We are looking at opening at the end of this year or January 1 next year at the very latest when I hope that the current Covid-19 restrictions will be a lot looser by then.
Mr Horspool, who runs Horspower Strength and Conditioning, in the Discovery Business Park, Broadway, Yaxley, and who will fund the new skate park, added: “We are presently in negotiations to secure a building in north Bretton which is looking super promising.
