For the last 30 days, David and his wife Julie have been putting on a show with different scenes to ‘bring a smile to people’s faces’.

Leading a more exciting life than most people, the bears have been to the pub, on a river adventure hunting for butterflies and off to the hospital. Travelling the world too, the bears have reached as far as South Africa, Canada, Australia and America... through Facebook!

Having raised £150 so far for Magpas, Julie and David will be continuing until they run out of ideas, though the pair have a list full of fun antics they can get up to. Their next charity scene will be put towards the Community First responders in the area, and a special tribute will be paid on Captain Thomas Moore’s 100th birthday on Thursday as a way to say thank you for raising millions of pounds for the NHS.

David said: “We think of ideas the night before, Julie came up with the idea to do something for the local kids when they walk by. It brightens people’s day in the mornings - we just want to bring smiles to people’s faces.”

It seems the bears have bought neighbours and the local community together as David noted how people walk by now to see what is next for the teddies!
