Special mums honoured at Peterborough nursery's Mother's Day celebrations
Those special mums in Peterborough were honoured at a special celebration for Mother’s Day.
Stars Pre-School Dogsthorpe recently welcomed families into the setting for a heart-warming Mother’s Day celebration, continuing a tradition that has become a much-loved part of the pre-school calendar.
The special Mother’s Day session saw a fantastic turnout of parents and carers who joined the children to celebrate together.
One of the parents said “We had such a lovely time at the Mother’s Day event at Stars Dogsthorpe. It was so special to spend time in the nursery, doing activities together and seeing how happy and settled the children are. The staff always go over and beyond and made us feel so welcome and made the morning memorable’’

Mother’s Day celebrations hold a particularly special place at Stars.
Each year the team looks forward to welcoming parents and carers into the setting so children can proudly share their learning environment and celebrate the important people in their lives.
Kerry Wilson the manager at Stars Pre-School Dogsthorpe said: “Mother’s Day is always such a special occasion for us at Stars Dogsthorpe. We love opening our doors to families and seeing the children share these moments with the people who mean so much to them. Being part of the community is at the heart of everything we do, and events like this really show how strong those connections are.
“We will also be holding an Easter event too at the pre-school and we can’t wait to attend the event which is being held by Christ the Carpenter Church and encourage the community to attend the event at the church too on March 21.”
