Officers spotting a stunning scene, amazing lights, or a picturesque view have paused briefly in their duties to capture it for the public to see. For many it has become an enjoyable sight and a reassuring one as officers patrol across the area at the most unsociable hours. Here we feature a selection of great shots taken by police officers on patrol in Peterborough and the surrounding area. A Cambridgeshire force spokesperson said: “Across Peterborough and Fenland we are lucky enough to have a very diverse district, with many beautiful and scenic spots which we like to capture on camera and share with our communities. “It’s always nice to come across a hidden gem, or just to stop for a moment and take in what we have around us, which we hope the public enjoy seeing through our posts.”
