Jill Brown, consultant at White Commercial Surveyors, said: “I am excited to have Smart Parking take over the management of our car parks in Yaxley. As a shopping centre we aim to give our customers the best possible shopping experience and easier, fairer and better parking will greatly contribute to that.”

Smart Parking said there will be “clear signage and improved accessibility,” while the time limit will not be in force on Sundays.

There will also be a ‘White List’ for authorised cars of shop staff, flat occupiers, regular deliveries and local taxis.

In addition, a phone number will be available to leave registration plates on a recorded message for tenants who may not have access to emails.

Vehicles will be monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras.

Smart Parking is a member of the British Parking Association (BPA) and operates a BPA-audited appeals process, it said.
