Quarry firm Stamford Stone enjoys double awards success

A stone supplier is enjoying a double celebration after success at a national awards.

Stamford Stone, based at Swaddywell Quarry, Stamford Road, Marholm, has won two accolades in the Stone Federation Great Britain National Stone Awards 2020.

The supplier of the renown Clipsham limestone secured the New Build Modern Category award for its work on a high profile redevelopment in Oxford.

It was also highly commended in the Traditional Style Stonemasonry Category for its work on a country house in Sutton, Cambridgeshire.
