Peterborough's Princebuild to host fundraising evening special to raise cash for two city charities

A leading Peterborough company is to host a fundraising evening for charities.

Construction firm Princebuild, based in Empson Road, aims to bring businesses and community supporters together to raise funds for the House Project Peterborough and Helping Our Ukrainian Friends (HOUF).

The fundraiser is to take place on April 30 at Katana, in Broadway, Peterborough and will feature great food, networking and entertainment.

The evening will also include live entertainment from the X Factor finalist Nicole Lawrence along with a charity auction and raffle hosted by Princebuild-director Matthew Pudney and special guests.

Group brand and marketing manager Carly said the event reflected Princebuild’s continued commitment to supporting the communities in which it works.

She said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing people together for what promises to be a great evening.

"It’s a chance for businesses and friends of Princebuild to enjoy themselves while also helping to raise money for The House Project and Helping Our Ukrainian Friends.

"Community support is incredibly important to us, and events like this reflect our values of building, sharing and caring while making a meaningful difference.”

The House Project Peterborough supports care leavers as they move into independent living. The charity provides safe housing, life skills, education and long-term support, helping young people build confidence, stability and a positive future.

Helping Our Ukrainian Friends (HOUF) is a local charity delivering direct humanitarian aid to those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The organisation supplies essential items including food, clothing and medical equipment, providing practical support to families and individuals in need.

On the evening, guests will be welcomed with a drink on arrival, followed by a delicious two-course Japanese meal, with dessert available to purchase on the night.

Ticket options include a standard table at £50 per person and a VIP Teppanyaki table at £75 per person. There are 65 VIP Teppanyaki places available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets for the evening are already selling well, with strong interest from businesses across the city keen to support the initiative.

Anyone interested in attending or supporting the event is encouraged to contact Carly Dadge at [email protected].
