Emma Stones nominated one of my best friends, Mollie Kelly who is a special person in many lives.

Nadia Abdurahman gave a huge shout out to Shahaid Millfield. She said: “He worked tirelessly round-the-clock before the lockdown and then continued with his superhero cape, to help during lockdown 1, 2 ,3 to find accommodation for those sleeping rough.

“From early in the morning, until the wee hours, hail, rain or snow, he is out there providing assistance and paying out of his own pocket for a hotel for those homeless individuals that are not housed by the council.”

The staff at staff at West Raven Community Cafe, Wittering Community Food Hub and Oundle Rotary Club were also among the most nominated communities, which readers have a special nod to for going above and beyond for others.

Millie Stevens added: “My amazing friends Emma Stones and Amy Rosser who always work hard as part of the NHS, always keeping positive and doing what they can to help others and take care of them.”

Lisa Parker-Roberts wanted everyone to know about Nadeem Ismail who is a pharmacist at the critical care unit at Peterborough City Hospital.

She said: “He has organised food deliveries to staff and also gone above and beyond in reaching out to his friends and network of local business to see if they could donate goods and services that would benefit the staff and patients in critical care.

"This is as well as working full time, plus countless hours of overtime to be there for staff and patients. He truly is a hero.”
