Primary school children got to experience life at a top fintech company when they visited BGL Group’s Peterborough headquarters.

Thirty-one pupils from Braybrook Primary Academy in Orton Goldhay stepped inside the world of work when they went behind the scenes at BGL’s Orton Southgate office, where more than 1,300 people work. The visit was arranged in partnership with The National Literacy Trust as part of its Words for Work: Dream Big programme and kickstarted a six-week project for the year one pupils.

Rachael Burns, Project Manager for Words for Work: Dream Big, said: “We bring schools and businesses together to help children imagine their futures and show them how the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills they learn at school will help them when they’re older.”
