During the interview, Alexa, who is also a lecturer, talked about the importance of leadership and the impact it has had on her career so far.

She also explained how the academy successfully came through the first covid lockdown and looked after the interests and wellbeing of students and staff.

She added: “Now is a good time to come into our industry. We are going through difficult times but there are opportunities from that and we have seen that in our own business. Our industry is always going to be popular as people will always want to look after themselves.”

The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is currently in the process of talking to leadership figures from across the nation in an attempt to understand the skills of leadership and what it means in modern Britain and Northern Ireland.
