Dan Cumberworth, co-owner of Elevate Fitness Studio, said: “It’s been tough at times, but we’ve got a great team who have all been keeping each other motivated.

“We are halfway to our fundraising target now too so we are encouraging everyone to get behind the challenge and support the work of Médecins Sans Frontiéres in countries that are least able to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.”

Darren Fox, also co-owner, added: “We covered some serious ground this weekend with eight of us doing a round trip from the Elevate Fitness Studio in Werrington to Hunstanton and back.

“We had a great bike ride to the coast clocking up another 198km each in one day towards our total. Of course, we had a break at Hunstanton to refuel on fish and chips

Dan said: “The team have gone above and beyond to contribute towards the challenge, we’ve had people getting up at 4am every morning to get a bike ride in before work and others have done massive 200km bike rides. So far we’ve raised £5,695 towards our £10,000 target so every kilometre covered is worth it."

The Elevate team have set up a Just Giving page here and will be posting regular updates as the challenge progresses.
