A Peterborough care home has been rated as ‘Good’ in all areas following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission.
The care home, located on Eyebury Road, in Eye, was given an overall rating of Good as well as rated as Good in the five areas each care provider is judged; Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led.
The care home, run by RBL Field House Care Ltd, was inspected between February 4 and March 12, with the results published on in April.
At the time of the inspection, 53 people were in receipt of the care services, including some with dementia.

The service was previously found to be in breach of legal regulations in relation to safe care and treatment and governance, which prompted the inspection, but this was found to be no longer the case.
The report noted that: “People experienced safe, compassionate and personalised care. Staff were warm, respectful and attentive, and relatives described the home as a supportive, welcoming and responsive service.
"Staff knew people well and used this knowledge to tailor care, support choices and promote independence. People felt valued and told us care was delivered in a calm and unhurried way that upheld their dignity.
"The provider demonstrated a proactive approach to safety, based on openness and honesty. Leaders and staff had a shared vision with a focus on learning and continual improvement. Leaders were visible, knowledgeable and supportive, helping staff develop in their roles.
"People, relatives and staff felt supported to give feedback and felt their contributions were valued. Staff acted promptly when needs changed and worked well alongside a range of health and social care professionals to ensure continuity of care.”
Inspectors also described the level of care as ‘compassionate’ and not rushed and saw positive interactions between people and staff.
One family member of a person at the care home said: “The staff are never in a rush, they show so much love and they are really patient.”
Another added: “Staff have been very caring from day one, they have been lovely. Also, very respectful with dignity.”
