Peterborough artist plans third anti-racism image after work seen across the world

A street artist whose ant-racist work was a hit across the world has finished his latest piece - and is now planning a third work in the series.

Nathan Murdoch saw his work, painted in an underpass on Taverners Road, be shared by thousands of people, including rapper and actor Ice T, who praised the message of unity shown in the work - last week as Black Lives Matters protests took place across the planet.

The work featured a white hand shaking hand with a black hand - with the two arms creating a heart shape.

Now Nathan, director of Street Arts Hire, has completed the second piece - two hands of different races giving a ‘fist bump.’ The piece is again at Taverners Road

He said his first piece in the series was titled ‘Love’, the second piece ‘Respect’ and the third piece would be ‘Unity,’ although he has no planned location for it yet.
