Outdoor cinema and ice-skating among free activities available across Peterborough this summer

With schools across the city set to break up shortly, many parents will already be considering how best to keep the family entertained over the summer holidays.

And with money still tight for many, finding fun things to do on a budget can be more of a challenge than it may initially seem.

Thankfully, Peterborough Family Hubs are laying on a range of events and activities this summer that will appeal to all budgets – as they’re FREE!

That’s right, Peterborough City Council are once again offering a Summer of Free Family Fun, which they describe as a ‘packed programme of activities designed to help families spend quality time together, try something new, and make lasting memories.’

The events will run throughout July and August and are completely free. Moreover, booking is not necessary for all activities, meaning anyone who fancies a spot of spontaneous fun can just turn up on the day.
