The Voluntary Community Sector - Future Forum is being hosted by the Peterborough Council for Voluntary Services (PCVS) on two dates in September.

PCVS said: “This interactive two-part event will bring people together from across Peterborough’s voluntary and community sector to meet, share ideas and discuss the impact of Covid-19 on Peterborough’s communities.

“We’ll celebrate the fantastic work local groups and organisations have been doing to support residents during lockdown, provide an update on the key themes emerging from our popular series of forums, and address any blockers that are stopping ideas and projects from moving forward.

“The event will also shine a light on some of the unique partnerships that have formed recently and we’ll use this as inspiration to look for new ways to work closer together to benefit more people across the city.

“We’ll wrap up by outlining the various funding streams available to help local groups, charities and organisations do more vital work to support Peterborough’s communities.

“If you work in the voluntary and community service sector in Peterborough, this event is not to be missed.”
