"This is in line with the timing of the national autumn booster programme.
“During the two-week de-commissioning period, staff on fixed term contracts may be asked to work from other vaccination centres within a reasonable travelling distance.”
It is understood a public awareness campaign will be launched to ensure the pubic is aware of the closure.

But the campaign will finish at the end of this year meaning the premises will no longer be required.
The spokesperson said: “Those who are eligible for a vaccination or booster will be able to access these thereafter from well-established alternate locations in Peterborough, including pharmacies and our outreach delivery which provides vaccinations in community locations, care homes and to housebound patients.
There are 44 staff on fixed term contracts at the centre with 24 bank workers and 68 volunteers although this number does vary. Work is under way to redeploy the staff.
