An Aldi spokeswoman told the Peterborough Telegraph: “I can confirm that the store isn’t opening on June 17.”
She said the retailer hoped to be able to provide more details in a couple of weeks.
Construction work on the new store began last November in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Aldi store is part of a third phase of development at the park for up to 30,000 sq ft of retail, leisure, pub and leisure space.
Peterborough One is home to Van Hage Garden Centre, Steadman & Co Hairdressing and The Works, Inflata Nation and Hebden Dance Co and beauty school ‘Kiss and Make Up’.
