‘It’s been crazy’: Business booming for new seafood restaurant near Peterborough as it welcomes 1,000th customer in just three months

The owner of a new seafood restaurant near Peterborough has described its first three months as “crazy” after recently welcoming its 1,000th customer.

Chef Adam Noble has been taken aback by the support received from diners after opening his new Seafood Brasserie at The Bull in Newborough at the start of May.

The restaurant, which specialises in high quality seafood dishes using ingredients from the North Norfolk Coast, has gone from strength to strength over the past 12 weeks and regularly hosts sold-out sittings.

On Saturday (July 25) the restaurant hosts its 1,000th customer, who was rewarded with a free bottle of champagne.

The milestone is a significant one for Chef Adam, who took the decision to close his previous venture in Sutton Bridge soon after its opening due to the sudden passing of his mother.

He told the Peterborough Telegraph: “It’s just phenomenal. I can’t get my head around it!

“I did think it would take a lot longer to get to the stage we’re at now. I genuinely never thought it would happen so quickly.

“I’m a really reflective person, and the more I try to reflect, the more it blows my mind.

From moules and frites to bottomless tapas, Adam says the restaurant’s themed nights have gone down a storm, with customers travelling from far and wide to get their seafood fix.

Last week the restaurant announced plans for a ‘Lobsterfest’ in August, where diners will be served with a whole Norfolk lobster, fries and lashings of garlic butter.
