‘I wish them every success’: Popular farm shop and cafe near Peterborough sold to new owners

A popular farm shop and cafe near Peterborough has been taken over by new owners after nearly four years.
Rectory Farm Kitchen, in Warmington, was opened by Sally Andrew in late 2022.
Located adjacent to a working farm, the cafe features an outdoor seating area where customers can relax and enjoy the panoramic views.
It also offers a range of local produce, including vegetables, baked goods and condiments.
In a social media post on Monday (July 27) Sally confirmed that she had sold the business to new owners Jack and Darcey.
She said: “After four amazing years, I’ve made the decision to sell Rectory Farm Kitchen and it’s time for me to move on.
“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to every single customer who has supported me over the years.
“Whether you’ve popped in every day, met friends over coffee, celebrated special moments with us, or simply stopped by now and then, you’ve all played a part in making the cafe so special.
“I’ve made some wonderful friendships and memories that I’ll always treasure.
“A massive thank you also goes to my incredible team. Your hard work, loyalty and laughter has been fun, and I couldn’t have done it without you.
“I’m delighted to be handing the café over to its new owners. I wish them every success as they begin their own journey here in Warmington.
“Thank you for everything. It’s been an absolute privilege to be part of this wonderful community.”
A subsequent post from the shop’s new owners thanked Sally for “creating such a wonderful cafe” and the shop would be open as normal from 9am today (Tuesday, July 28).
