Gift and homewares retailer opens in Peterborough
Independent retailer, Rather Gifted, has moved into premises in Queensgate’s Westgate Arcade.
Owner Ian Crampton said: “We’re extremely excited to be opening our shop in Westgate Arcade and to bring our unique products to the heart of Peterborough city centre.”

Hide AdThe new outlet brings a mix of unique home accessories, wall art, gift ideas, furnishings and much more for Peterborough shoppers to browse and buy.
The retailer already operates a successful store open in Oundle.
Rather Gifted’s plans to expand following careful research into locations of increasing footfall and desirability.
Mr Crampton said: “This is a prime location and the Arcade is full of like-minded independent retailers like us, which we are thrilled to complement with our different range of gift and homeware ideas. Please do come and visit us and help support independent companies.”

Hide AdTwo weeks ago, Queensgate Shopping Centre reported that 96% of its retailers are now open and more to come, the addition of Rather Gifted gives shoppers even more selection during their visit.
Mark Broadhead, Centre Director at Queensgate Shopping Centre, said: “Welcome to Ian and the team.
“We’re absolutely delighted to see new retailers joining the shopping centre, which is welcome news following a difficult period for retail.
“We’re seeing increasing numbers of people venturing out into the City Centre and I hope they make time to pop down the Westgate Arcade to discover Rather Gifted and the many other independent retailers we have to offer.”
