Crews from Ramsey, Huntingdon, Chatteris and Stanground fire stations were called to Blenheim Road in Ramsey at 11.43pm last night (Wednesday).

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a shed that was spreading to the roof of a detached house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and jets before returning to their stations by 4.50am.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was accidental.
