Already a popular activity, Escape Rooms is a real-life Crystal Maze, a problem solving game whereby players are locked in a themed room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles with the aim of escaping the room within a set time limit.

A planning application has been submitted to Peterborough City Council to turn the former Peterborough Music shop at 4 Cattle Market Road into the Escape Room Centre.

If given the green light the shop will be turned into three themed escape rooms, each room having a capacity for six people.

Each game would take a maximum of an hour and the centre would be open seven days a week 10am to 10pm.
