Easter bins 2026: Easter bin collection plans confirmed by Peterborough City Council
There are two bank holidays over the next week
An update has been issued for bin collection changes during the Easter bank holiday weekend in Peterborough.
This year the Easter bank holiday period falls between Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6, with Good Friday and Easter Monday both bank holidays.
Residents in some parts of the country have been impacted by changes to their bin collection schedule due to the Easter holidays.
However, Peterborough City Council has now confirmed that there will be no changes to collections over the Easter period.
Households are reminded to have their bins out by 6.45am on collection day.
Standard household bins in Peterborough are emptied every fortnight, with Good Friday services planned to go ahead as normal.
