Coronavirus round-up in Peterborough as sport, elections and awards postponed

As expected, Peterborough United matches for the next month have been postponed, with two Posh players also going into self-isolation.

However, there will still be plenty of local sport for people to enjoy this weekend.

It was also announced today that the local elections have been pushed back 12 months which could have huge ramifications both in terms of the leadership at Peterborough City Council and the balance of power at the Town Hall.

In other news, the Investors in the Environment (iiE) awards at the Great Northern Hotel in Peterborough, which celebrate the achievements of green businesses, will now be held several months later than originally planned.
