The branch in Oakleigh Drive, Orton Longueville, has now temporarily shut.

A Post Office spokesperson said: “Orton Longueville Post Office is temporarily closed due to staffing issues caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is not known at this stage when the branch will re-open. In the interim alternative Post Offices include Orton Malborne, Old Fletton and Peterborough.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure as we know how important a Post Office is to a community and a Post Office is designated as an essential retailer by the UK Government.”

The Berrymoor Road branch will be closed for more than two weeks

· Orton Malborne Post Office, 31 Herlington, Orton Malborne, PE2 5PW

· Old Fletton Post Office, 132 High Street, Old Fletton, PE2 8DP

· Peterborough Office, 32-36 Bridge Street, Peterborough, PE1 1DP (revised opening hours Monday to Friday: 9am – 3pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm).
