Peterborough Cat Rescue posted on Facebook saying it is “very low” on both wet and dry cat food, weaning food and wood pellets litter.

It said: “As you can imagine all shops where we get our food from are running very low or are empty (due to Covid-19) and we are struggling to get enough food for all the cats in our care (we have just over 70 cats at the moment).

“That is a lot for a small rescue. If anyone has any food they no longer need please could you consider gifting it to us to help us to feed all our foster furbabies. You can either drop it in our food bins or message us to arrange collection, or you can buy from our wish lists.”
