They delivered some delicious curry dishes to PCH as thanks to our staff for their efforts this week.”
Elsewhere, the selfless efforts from Peterborough companies continued with Hamptons Plaice in Stewartby Avenue, Hampton Vale, donating anti-bacterial handwash it had to local schools, including Phoenix School, Southfields Primary School in Stanground and Hampton Vale Primary School.
The chippy is also selling 25kg bags of potatoes to customers which can last for up to two months in a cool, dry place as they are fresh from the ground.
The restaurant is also beginning takeaways on Monday with people able to order online at: www.hamptonsplaice.co.uk.

Little Miracles, a Peterborough-based charity for families with children that have additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions, has had to cancel all of its fundraising events which are crucial for its survival.
Michelle King from the charity said: “The whole charity sector in Peterborough is going to be at risk of collapse if donations dry up. Things are really, really tight and we deliver a hell of a lot compared to our income.
“It would be really good if we could get a co-ordinated appeal going out.”
