Community choir is back with fundraiser
Peterborough Take Note Community Choir held their first concert since the lifting of Covid restrictions.
The concert, on May 21, was held at the Salvation Army Citadel and the choir sang a “Celebration” of songs, the first of which was “Sing”, written for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012.
Robin Norman conducted, Judith Cameron played piano while Peterborough Flute Choir were special guests.
Profits from the evening were given to support Headway Cambridgeshire and Light Project Peterborough. Donations were also made to The Parkinson’s Society.
