Celebrating the life of Dolly Parton at Peterborough New Theatre

Multi-award-winning Dolly Parton tribute Kelly O’Brien is coming to Peterborough New Theatre on October 9 with Decades of Dolly – a theatrical spectacular celebrating seven decades of the late country music icon's extraordinary life and career.

“For 20 years, it has been the greatest privilege of my life to celebrate the extraordinary music, spirit and legacy of Dolly Parton,” says Kelly. “The show - performed with the deepest love and respect – is a heartfelt celebration of the woman whose songs brought so much joy, comfort and inspiration to generations around the world.”

She added: "The New Theatre opened as an Odeon picture house back in 1937 and has been rescued twice by people who simply refused to let Peterborough lose it. There is something very Dolly about a building that was written off and keeps coming back."

A percentage of profits from each show on the tour will be donated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a book gifting program that mails free books to children from birth until they begin school.
