His challenge struck a chord with the public and his efforts ended up raising a huge £32.7 million with donations from 1.5million supporters from across the world.
Prime Minister Boris Johnsin also announced today (February 3) that he would lead a national clap in honour of Sir Tom and health workers at 6pm.

He said: “My phone has been going absolutely crazy, I’ve had so many requests from local people who want to see it, clearly the people of Peterboorugh want to see it and we are happy to deliver it for them.
“We actually had plans for a mural last April, we had found a central location in the city but the quality of the wall was not upto the standard required and we didn’t know how long it would last so unfortunately that didn’t happen.

“I’m confident that it will happen and of course the NHS will have first refusal on the location of the tribute.”
Nathan’s work can already be seen throughout the city, his anti-racism mural gained worldwide attention in July, he has also created a tribute to The Prodigy singer Keith Flint and recently he helped transform the underpasses at Cuckoo’s Hollow with stunning scenes of wildlife.
