Burger King: Opening date for Peterborough's newest fast food joint announced - and there are free Whoppers for lucky customers
Peterborough’s newest fast food joint will open on Friday, September 11 as Burger King opens at Boongate.
The new Peterborough restaurant has created 25 new jobs for the locals, and is located in place of the old Frankie & Benny's branch, opposite The Range, B&M and Smyths Toys at the Boongate retail park.
On opening day, 1,000 free Whopper, Plant-Based Whopper, Chicken Royale or Vegan Royale burgers will be given away to lucky customers.
The restaurant will be open from 10am until 9pm on opening day only, with the giveaway available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last only at the Peterborough location. To get in on the action, guests simply need to order a Whopper or Chicken Royale at the front counter or drive-thru to get their burger totally free
Not only this, the 100th customer on the first day will win a year’s supply of Burger King at the Peterborough restaurant.
Olivia, Restaurant Manager at Burger King® UK, Peterborough location, said: “My team and I are looking forward to meeting all our new customers in Peterborough! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by giving away 1,000 of our iconic Whopper or Chicken Royale burgers so get down nice and early to claim yours!”
