Air ambulance supports paramedics in Peterborough as man taken to hospital

A man in his 50s was taken to Peterborough City hospital after an air ambulance was called to assist paramedics in Peterborough.

Residents said the air ambulance landed in a field off Hodgson Avenue, Werrington, this afternoon (Sunday, May 3).

A spokesman confirmed the air ambulance was disptached from Norwich at 12.30.

He said: “The East Anglian Air Ambulance crew assisted the East of England Ambulance service in attending to a man in his 50s with complex medical issues.

“The man was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance.”
