A47 closures planned for Guyhirn this weekend
Motorists are being warned about overnight closures on the A47 near Peterborough this weekend.
National Highways said the closures would take place on Saturday and Sunday.
A spokesperson said: “We're carrying out essential maintenance on the A47 between Guyhirn Roundabout and Redmoor Lane Roundabout, near Wisbech.
“We need to close the A47 overnight (8pm to 6am) on Saturday 1 August and Sunday 2 August.
“Weekday overnight work will continue from Monday 3 August (8pm to 6am).
“This important work will help keep the A47 safe and reliable for the thousands of people who use it every day.
“If you're travelling this weekend, please plan ahead, check your route and allow extra time for your journey.
“Thank you for your patience while we carry out these improvements.”
