Overnight A47 closures in Peterborough announced

The closures will be place at Junction 16 of the Soke Parkway at Bretton Gate, beginning on Monday, February 17.

They are due to last 11 nights to allow for the permanent installation of a traffic statistics site, lighting installation and maintenance, grass and hedge/tree cutting and trimming and other routine maintenance, Highways England said.

The westbound entry slip road will be closed, as will the eastbound and westbound carriageways between the exit and entry slip roads at Junction 16.

Further road closures have also been announced:

. Glebe Avenue, Orton Waterville, outside 16 Glebe Avenue, for sewer works - Monday, January 27 until Saturday, February 1.

. Buntings Lane, Stanground, between the B1091 and Hoylake Drive for the resurfacing of footways - Monday, February 3 until Friday, February 7.

. Soke Road, Newborough, at its junction with Drain Road for culvert repair works - Monday, February 3

. Churchfield Road, Walton, between Gallions Close and Croyland Road, for water connection works - Tuesday, February 4 until Thursday, February 6.

. Peterborough Road, between 40 metres and 100 metres north of Barbers Drove North in Crowland - Monday, January 27 until Thursday, January 30.
