Open day raises hundreds at community centre
A community centre raised hundreds of pounds at an open day.
The Thistle Drive Community Centre is raising money after former finance officer Gemma Beeny defrauded them out of thousands of pounds. The open day on Sunday saw artists giving demonstrations, and a range of activities for all ages, demonstrating what goes on at the centre. They raised £257 on the day.
