The veterans recently lost their RVS Community Corner venue due to demolition but are now extremely pleased to have found a new home.

George Bennett, chairman of the club, and Ian Clark, secretary, said: “We are delighted to have been able to move to the rugby club. It serves our purposes very well and we are sure we will be happy at our new venue.”

Peterborough Rugby Club vice-chairman Archie Bennett said, “As a community club we are delighted to open our arms to such a prestigious organisation, and this strengthens our links with the city. The veterans have also expressed an interest in carrying out some voluntary work around our clubhouse and grounds which we much appreciate.”

The club meets every Wednesday from 2pm until 4pm and all local veterans are welcome to attend.
