New High Sheriff installed at cathedral

The new High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire was installed in a traditional ceremony in Peterborough Cathedral.

Sir David Arculus was appointed at the service on Wednesday. Sir David, a former advisor to Tony Blair, takes over the role from outgoing High Sheriff Captain Victor Lucas. Mr Arculus said: “It’s a great honour to be installed into such a historic office, and in this wonderful County of Cambridgeshire, where I have spent most of my adult life.”
