New deadline for Deepings neighbourhood survey

More than 600 responses have come in since the survey was launched in June and talks are under way about it with South Kesteven District Council.

The team behind the plan were at the Deepings Raft Rave last Sunday to encourage people from Market Deeping, Deeping Gate and Deeping St James to have their say on the area’s future development.

Coun Judy Stevens, member for Deeping St James on South Kesteven District Council, said: “It is really important that people fill in their questionnaires because the neighbourhood plan is the one and only way to have an input on what the Deepings are going to look like over the next 20 years.

“The people of the Deepings are very active in the community and we need them to step up to the plate on this issue.”
