A teacher at Jack Hunt School has received a Sign of Peace award, for his work bringing the community together, and

working for peace in Peterborough.

Mr Muhammad Nawaz, Pakistani Community Liaison, was honoured in consideration of his long community cohesion service in Peterborough at an event hosted by the Organisation for World Peace at Peterborough Town Hall.

Guest speaker, Abid Ali Abid, Worldwide Chairman of the Organisation for the World Peace, from Denmark, commented on the work Mr Nawaz has been doing for education, behaviour and safeguarding of the young children in and outside school, particularly in the Mosque environment.
