Man was attacked with a metal bar in Chatteris

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was violently attacked in Chatteris yesterday (July 14).

The incident happened between 5pm and 7pm at the recreation park off Wenny Road.

An 18-year-old man was assaulted by two other men using a metal bar.

The victim was taken to Hinchingbrooke hospital with serious injuries

PC Kurt Allen said: “I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen these two men in the area around this time.”
