Man needs medical treatment after huge house fire in Peterborough

At 12.33am on Sunday (November 8) crews were called to a fire on Marsham in Orton Goldhay, Peterborough.
More than 20 firefighters, including crews from Stanground, Yaxley, the Peterborough Volunteers Fire Brigade, Dogsthorpe and Thorney attended the incident, along with the Multistar aerial appliance from Stanground.

Hide AdFirefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in a terraced house.
The property was evacuated before the crews arrived at the scene. They treated one male casualty for smoke inhalation and left him in the care of ambulance crews.
The crews returned to their stations by 4.05am.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
