Long queues on A1 between Wittering and Peterborough after sports car leaves road

There were delays on the A1 near Wittering this afternoon after a car left the road and crashed into a ditch.

Police attended the scene on the northbound carriageway to recover the black F-Type Jaguar, which was the only car involved.

There are no injuries reported.

Traffic was queuing back past the A47 junction at Wansford as one lane was closed to allow recovery.
