Last chance to have your say on new Cambridgeshire County Council ward boundaries

The public consultation closes on 20 June 2016.

The Commission’s draft recommendations propose that Cambridgeshire Council should have 61 county councillors in the future: eight fewer than the current arrangements.

The proposals mean those councillors would represent 51 single-member divisions and five two-member divisions across the county.

Professor Colin Mellors, Chair of the Commission, said: “We are keen to hear local views about our boundary proposals before we finalise them in September.

“We want to make sure ward boundaries across Cambridgeshire reflect the identities and interests of local communities as well as delivering electoral fairness for voters.

“This is your last chance to have your say before we finalise the recommendations.”
