Large parts of Peterborough suffered a power cut this morning (Saturday).

Homes were affected between 7.45am up until 10.30am, UK Power Networks confirmed.

It stated: "Our engineers had to redirect power due to a fault on the electricity network."

The affected postcodes were: PE1, PE3, PE4, PE5, PE6 and PE7.
