Large diesel spill shuts part of A14 at Huntingdon

Police were called at just gone 7am this morning, Friday, May 13, with reports of a large diesel spill on the A14 at Spittals, Huntingdon.

The location is just before the Spittals roundabout on the eastbound carriageway, on the inside lane.

Police and Highways officers attended who have closed lane one while the spillage is cleared. It is expected the lane will remain closed until at least 2pm this afternoon.

Motorists are advised to avoid there area and find an alternate route if possible while the clearance takes place.
