Plans have been drawn up to turn the 12.5 acre site into a high quality industrial park with trade counter and showroom units.

The land has been acquired by Broadway Developments Yaxley, which has hired commercial agents Savills with Barker Storey Matthews to market the units, which are subject to planning approval.

The scheme could provide 180,000 sq ft of employment space and turn the derelict site into a thriving employment area.

Edward Gee, associate director in the business space team at Savills Peterborough, said: “There remains a shortage of industrial stock across the region making this is the ideal location for a potential new scheme, which is set to attract a variety of occupiers.”

Richard Jones, director of BSM, said: “We are excited to be involved in a new development which will offer quality industrial space when stock levels are at a record low level locally.”
